"Was told this was a hidden a gem in Brookline - and I can confirm!!! The place was absolutely packed on a Thursday night with the warmness of a true tapas place in Spain. The atmosphere was really lovely, and felt like the days before COVID. Food was delicious, inexpensive, everything arrived quickly and well spaced. Service also top notch. "Easily the best Spanish restaurant out of the four I've tried in Boston, and the closest to tastes back home. Superb jamón, croquetas, manchego, gambas, squid, black rice, and the list goes on... All with great wine, and an amazing service. Definitely worth the visit, and will be going back to try the rest of the menu."
"The place has some kind of attractive energy, I really like it and it is very comfortable here. The food itself on the plate looks very appetizing and attractive, while the taste is incomparable and meets expectations in appearance. This is one of my favorite Spanish restaurants where I really get the most out of the process."
"Great little spot for drinks and tapas. Very cozy interior with lovely Spanish decor, colors and artwork, kind staff, quick service, and excellent food. Great wine, tapas and dessert selection. Typically busy and lively during the weekends, but quiet and more accessible during the week."
"My friends and I recently went to Tasca for tapas. We shared a pitcher of sangria while a live band created a lovely atmosphere. We were looking to share a variety of dishes together. We asked the waiter to surprise us with 8 of his favorites dishes. We had such a delicious variety of favors. The service is excellent. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out."
"REAL SPANISH FOOD. The food is amazing and a perfect service. It is without any type of doubt, the best spanish restaurant in Boston. Much better than Barcelona, and actually much cheaper.
From a Spaniard in Boston, I highly the tortilla, the octopus, croquetas de jamón and crema Catalana.
Can wait to come back"
"I'd recommend Tasca for the ambience alone - classy, cozy, and romantic! The food is great too. My friend and I had the 3-sausage plate, baked brie and apple, goat cheese in puff pastry with a roasted red pepper sauce, and amazing garlicky shrimp. The dessert was an Oreo/caramel/banana pie(?), and it was decadent. They have $10 pitchers of sangria from Thursday through Sunday as well! Cute little place in Allston. Reservations are recommended but may not be necessary."
"Where do I start? This place is BRILLIANT. I’ve studied abroad in Spain twice and this is like dining in Madrid. Not only that, the chefs are unbelievably knowledgeable about what they’re cooking and any dietary restrictions that are out there. My girlfriend is a vegan and I take her there because the chefs care. She ordered the ratatouille (pisto manchego) and a few other vegan dishes. Our server came back out without us mentioning veganism to confirm if there were any food allergies or dietary restrictions. They replaced the non vegan bread in her ratatouille without us even asking."
"I love the inviting, dark, intimate atmosphere they've created. It resembles actual European restaurants' feel, with a great selection of tapas. All the food is tasty and I highly recommend this place to anyone. Get on their email list for lots of deals/coupons or hear about Sangria specials and live music."
"Excellent Tapas place, nice atmosphere and good service. My first time in Tasca and I got an incredible experience, the charismatic and attentive waitress, the food as I describe it in a word, FABULOUS, small plates but they are worth it for the great taste they have, highly recommended."
